Project Coordination & Analysis

• Assist in evaluating power and land opportunities by analyzing data from tools such as Land id, OpenInfra, and ERCOT maps.
• Prepare and update internal project reports, tracking power availability, interconnection status, and land feasibility.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each site opportunity, including utility correspondence and site visit summaries.

Utility & Landowner Communication

• Schedule and attend meetings with utilities（e.g., Oncor, CoServ, local co-ops) to follow up on interconnection requests and capacity inquiries.
• Draft professional communications and summarize meeting notes for internal reference.
• Coordinate with landowners, brokers, and local agencies to gather property information and maintain positive relationships.

Documentation & Presentation

• Prepare project decks, briefing materials, and proposal documents for management and partners.
• Support cross-team collaboration by keeping shared files, templates, and trackers up to date.

Public Engagement & Events

• Participate in local business events, energy association meetings, and industry conferences.
• Help represent TDTC professionally, introducing our business and identifying potential collaboration opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Communication, Engineering, or a related field
• Based in Texas, with good knowledge of local communities and culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking in meetings and public settings.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and mapping tools（Land id, Google Earth, OpenInfra, etc.）.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor — able to build trust with partners, utilities, and landowners.

Use tools such as Land id, OpenInfraMap, Google Earth, and county GIS to

• Map distribution and transmission assets
• shortlist candidate substations and feeders
• identify adjacent parcels with viable access, zoning, and topography

Engage external stakeholders

• contact investor owned utilities and electric cooperatives for capacity checks, load questionnaires, and interconnection steps.
• Communicate professionally with rural landowners, ranch managers, and local brokers to understand ownership, pricing, and deal terms.
• Maintain clear notes and status in a simple pipeline tracker.

Drive site scouting

• plan efficient routes, visit target areas, photograph sites, and validate assumptions on the ground.
• flag permitting, environmental, floodplain, and access constraints early.

Support internal decisions

• Prepare concise site memos with maps, parcel data, substation details, and utility feedback.
• coordinate with engineering on power configuration and with legal on LOIs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Based in Texas or strong familiarity with Texas communities.
• Valid driver license and comfort driving long distances.
• Clear, respectful communication with diverse stakeholders, including utilities, co-ops, landowners, and brokers.
• Basic understanding of how the electric system works at a high level, including substations, feeders, kV ratings, and interconnection concepts.
• Proficiency with map based research tools or a demonstrated ability to learn them quickly.
• Organized, accountable, and outgoing, with a service mindset.
